  • Java based data integration solution, combining metadata-driven design and execution, with an easy-to-use graphical development environment (uses eclipse), to deliver better scalability at a lower total cost of ownership than traditional data integration or Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions. Contrary to many other solutions ETL jobs defined in Talend Open Studio can be exported as Java or Perl programs or as Axis2 webservices, making it easy to run them independently of Talend Open Studio. One advantage of the Talend environment is the parallel execution of jobs on multiple nodes of a grid.
