Meta-data driven Extraction, Transformation, Transportation & Loading tool (ETL); now part of the Pentaho project. The Pentaho Data Integration suite consists of a number of tools for designing and executing ETL jobs. A graphical UI is provided for designing and testing ETL jobs which can then be saved to XML files or a database-backed repository; another executable is available to execute these job descriptions.
